KitchenHub (“KitchenHub”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a smart commercial cooking management platform provided by SaneChoice HK Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and share information when you use the KitchenHub mobile application and related services.
By using KitchenHub, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account and profile information
Depending on the features you use, we may process:
- Email address
- Display name or nickname
- Profile photo
- Mobile phone number, if voluntarily provided
- Account identifier
- Login and authentication information
- Merchant and membership information associated with your account
Merchant and store information
When KitchenHub is used for business management, we may process:

The exact device data processed depends on the device model and the KitchenHub features enabled by the user or merchant.
Photos and camera access
KitchenHub may allow users to:
- Upload profile photos
- Upload product or other business-related images
- Take photos using the device camera
- Scan QR codes for supported device activation and related functions
On supported Android devices, KitchenHub may use the system photo picker so users can select specific photos without granting broad access to the entire photo library. KitchenHub processes only the photos selected or captured by the user for the requested feature.
QR code and camera data
Camera access may be used to scan QR codes for supported device activation or related business functions. Camera images used for QR-code scanning are processed only for the requested scanning function unless the user separately chooses to capture or upload an image.
Technical and usage information
We may process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot KitchenHub, such as:
- App version
- Operating system version
- Device model
- Network status
- Error logs and diagnostic information
- Service and request logs
2. How We Use Information
We may use information collected through KitchenHub to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Authenticate users and maintain login sessions
- Manage merchants, stores, members, roles, and permissions
- Process merchant membership applications
- Manage products, recipes, images, and cooking information
- Connect, activate, and manage supported commercial cooking devices
- Process and display device and cooking data
- Provide QR-code scanning functionality
- Upload and store photos selected or captured by users

3. How We Share Information
We do not sell users’ personal information.
Service providers
We may use trusted service providers for cloud hosting, data storage, email delivery, network infrastructure, technical support, security, and system maintenance. Such providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and subject to applicable contractual and security requirements.
Merchant administrators and authorized members
Because KitchenHub is a business management platform, information relating to a merchant, store, device, product, member, or business operation may be accessible to authorized users of the same merchant according to their assigned roles and permissions.
Legal and security requirements
We may disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security, and integrity of KitchenHub, our users, or others.
4. Photo and Camera Permissions
KitchenHub uses camera access only when needed for user-requested functions such as:
- Taking a profile or product photo
- Scanning a QR code
- Activating supported equipment
For selecting existing photos, KitchenHub uses system-provided photo selection mechanisms where supported. KitchenHub does not require continuous or unrestricted access to the user’s entire photo or video library for its normal functionality.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Depending on the service, these measures may include access control, role-based permissions, authentication controls, secure network transmission, server-side safeguards, logging, and monitoring.
However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide KitchenHub services, maintain user accounts, support merchant operations, meet security requirements, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
When information is no longer required for these purposes, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with applicable law and our internal data-retention procedures.
7. Account and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their KitchenHub account and associated personal information. To initiate an account deletion request, contact us at bd@sane-choice.com using the email address associated with the KitchenHub account and include the subject “KitchenHub Account Deletion Request”.
We may take reasonable steps to verify the requester’s identity before processing the request. After verification, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account, except where retention is required or permitted by applicable law, security requirements, dispute resolution needs, or legitimate business record obligations.
Certain merchant or business records may need to be retained where necessary for legitimate operational, security, legal, or audit purposes. Where appropriate, such records will no longer be associated with an identifiable personal account after deletion.
8. User Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable law and your location, you may have rights to:
- Access personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of personal information
- Withdraw certain consents

KitchenHub may be used in multiple countries and regions. Information may be processed in countries or regions where SaneChoice HK Limited or its service providers operate. Where required by applicable law, we take reasonable measures intended to protect information transferred across borders.
11. Third-Party Services and SDKs
KitchenHub may use third-party infrastructure or software development kits necessary to provide technical functions. Where a third party processes information on our behalf, we require such processing to be limited to the applicable service purpose and handled consistently with applicable privacy and security requirements.
12. Advertising
KitchenHub does not use personal information for third-party behavioral advertising.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to KitchenHub, applicable law, or our privacy practices. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required by applicable law.

三、我们如何共享信息

服务供应商

四、照片及相机权限
KitchenHub 仅在用户主动使用相关功能时访问相机，例如：

- 激活兼容设备
选择已有照片时，我们会在支持的平台使用系统提供的照片选择机制。 KitchenHub 的正常功能不需要持续或不受限制地访问用户完整的照片或视频媒体库。
五、信息安全
我们采取合理的管理、技术和组织措施保护相关信息，视具体服务可能包括： 访问权限控制、基于角色的权限管理、身份认证、安全网络传输、 服务端安全措施、日志和异常监控等。
但任何网络传输或电子存储方式均无法保证绝对安全。
六、数据保留
我们仅在提供 KitchenHub 服务、维护用户账号、支持商户业务运营、 满足安全要求、履行适用法律义务、处理争议和执行协议所合理必要的期间保留个人信息。
当相关信息不再具有上述必要用途时，我们将根据适用法律及内部数据保留程序进行删除或匿名化处理。
七、账号及数据删除
用户可以申请删除 KitchenHub 账号及与该账号相关的个人信息。 如需发起账号删除请求，请使用与 KitchenHub 账号关联的邮箱发送邮件至 bd@sane-choice.com， 邮件主题建议填写 “KitchenHub Account Deletion Request”。
在处理删除请求前，我们可能采取合理措施验证申请人的身份。 完成验证后，我们将删除或匿名化与该账号相关的个人信息，但法律法规允许或要求继续保留、 安全要求、争议处理或合法业务记录所需的数据除外。
对于为合法业务运营、安全、法律或审计目的需要保留的部分商户业务记录， 我们将在适当情况下尽量使其不再与可识别的个人账号关联。
